Benjamin Garcia
I am a certified teacher with more than 20 years of teaching experience from teenagers to adults. I teach taking advantage of technology. I use pictures, readings, drills, grammar exercises, songs, and more. I was born in El Salvador. My native language is Spanish. I graduated in El Salvador, also studied at George Mason University, VA, as part of a teacher exchange program by the Department of State, and received different diplomas in teaching techniques, technology, and leadership in education.
Amy Edgerton
I have been teaching ESL (English as a Second Language) for more than 12 years. I have a Bachelor of Arts, Educational Studies in Elementary Education. I am fluent in both English and Spanish. I love teaching others what I know and showing them the importance of knowing a second language. I have tutored for all basic Subjects and helped with homework for 15+ years. I home-school my children. (pre-k to10th grade). I have used Abeka book, Master books, Bob Jones, Alpha Omega, Saxon and other homeschool material.

Fun lessons with repetition after pointing to objects, demonstrating actions, singing songs, counting, showing letters and numbers, and testing memory of new vocab. Amy is cheerful and upbeat – great energy for teaching a young child.

Benjamin is very knowledgeable, energetic, and patient tutor. It greatly helps that he is a high school teacher, so he understands teens and have great ways to teach Spanish. We are planning to schedule more lessons with Benjamin in future.
